Roald Dahl

Explore the scrumdiddlyumptious world of Dahl through gloriumptious music and a whoopsy-splunker, phizz-whizzing numerical reasoning trail to find the golden ticket.

Our highly–rated musical numerical reasoning trails provide learners with fun and engaging opportunities to develop and apply their procedural and numerical reasoning skills.

The trails are an excellent opportunity for staff to undertake formative assessment of numerical reasoning skills.  Guidance is provided for teachers that identifies the key assessment opportunities; models how to use learner responses to assess where pupils are on the numerical reasoning continuum; gives key questions to develop the skills of ALN and MAT pupils; provides a pro forma to record observations; and supports identification of next steps for taking learning deeper.

An inspirational and creative day enjoyed by staff and pupils. A clear way forward for developing the teaching of procedural skills, numerical reasoning and applying taught skills. We would welcome a return visit. A brilliant service highly recommended to other schools.
